Saturday June 20         The class has ended.   We learned to use Web 2.0 technology to create a "presence" online

                                                                                                                 and to be in "constant" communication.

The wiki site is still open: feel free to use it & to exchange with each others.

 

I interview my students in class and ask them why they are taking the class... they know better!

   * a fast connection is prefarable  (Cable/DSL)

   * a digital camera

   * a camcorder (digital cameras with video possibilities are OK)  

   * a webcam for live conference or asynchronous communication    around $ 50

   * Quicktime Pro to edit your videos    $30 for PC or Mac

     * a Jimdo account to create a website and showcase all your work online

     * a Flickr account to upload all your photos taken during the class  

     * a Seesmic account to converse with the teacher and other students through the use of a webcam

     * a Skype/Tokbox account to have live video/chat conversations

    * a Fliggo/YouTube/Vimeo account to upload your videos

    * a Twitter account to do micro blogging
